This is not a direct replacement for a dedicated quick coupler tiltrotator system.
Let’s clear that up right away. The bucket bolts onto the rotational drive and dual
cylinder trunnion tilt head, so you can bolt on things like a leveling bar, grading
beam, or different bucket size. It uses hoses and couplers to hook up to the hoses
on your boom, very simple, just like any other hydraulic attachment.
Can I run a Grapple under the tilt/rotate system?
Our Hydra Grapple does not use the same rotational drive as this attachment.
This tilt/rotate bucket uses an industry standard worm gear drive, while our
grapple uses an ultra high torque slewing bearing rotational drive that is
unnecessary for a bucket. The Hydra Grapple will not bolt onto this system, they
are separate and equally useful attachments for a reason.
That out of the way...
This attachment is 1/4 the cost of a tiltrotator system. It has no custom joysticks,
no computers, no quick couplers, and no B.S. If you need those things, then this
isn’t the attachment for you. But it’ll tilt and rotate with the industry’s shortest
height from stick pin to bucket top, giving you more maneuverability and
breakout force. Ditching, shaping, grading, shorelines, trail building- it’ll dominate.
