Description
The BOMAG BW226DH-4 is a heavy-duty 26-ton class smooth single drum vibratory roller engineered for large-scale earthwork compaction projects, belonging to Bomag’s 4th generation classic compaction machinery. Powered by a reliable Deutz TCD 2012 L06 six-cylinder diesel engine delivering 150kW (204 HP), this machine delivers strong power output, stable performance and outstanding fuel efficiency for long-hour construction operations.
Equipped with a wide 2130mm smooth steel drum and dual vibration frequencies (26Hz / 33Hz) with high compaction force up to 500kN, it features dual-amplitude compaction modes to handle both shallow surface finishing and deep subgrade compaction. The optional VARIOCONTROL intelligent variable amplitude system automatically adjusts vibration amplitude according to soil conditions, achieving consistent compaction results on sand, gravel, crushed stone and mixed fill layers.
